Rookie Week is May 5th-9th from 3:30-5:00 PM. Attendance is mandatory for all New and Former band members that did not march last year, last year's officers ('07-'08 seniors are not required), and anyone wishing to try out for Drum Major, Drumline, or Colorguard. Students that marched last year that will be in Marching Band this upcoming fall are not required to attend, however, if one wishes to be an officer, they are encouraged to come. Also they are encouraged to come and pick up their music. During this week, the new marchers will learn fundamentals, the marching show's music will be handed out, next year's goals and expectations will be introduced, etc... Auditions will be on Friday after school and results will be posted the following week. The results for next year's officers will also be determined this week and posted the following week. Those auditioning for Drum Major will need to come pick up the information sheet for auditions starting next week - 4/21-4/25. There is also an information sheet for anyone trying out for Drumline and Colorguard.

Thank you to all of the parents that have helped make this year's trips to honor bands successful! Many students were able to attend several honor bands and I couldn't have done it without the parents' help.
